1. Scope
This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage used by TRACKK, the HR and payroll platform operated by FBM Solutions Private Limited, across trackk.app and the TRACKK web application. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and browser storage are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser and reads back on later requests. We also
use two related browser features, localStorage and sessionStorage, which
keep a value in the browser without sending it on every request. They are covered here because
they serve the same purpose from your point of view.
3. What we actually set
We keep this deliberately short. TRACKK sets no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking pixels on this website, and we do not share browsing data with ad networks.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off.
-
TrackkAdminAuth- keeps an administrator signed in to the TRACKK admin area. Expires after 8 hours of inactivity. HttpOnly. -
Antiforgery token (
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.*) - protects the contact, demo, careers and partner forms against cross-site request forgery. Deleted when you close the browser.
Functional
-
tk_bv_*- records that this browser has already opened a given blog post, so a refresh does not inflate the view counter. One per post, expires after 12 hours, HttpOnly, holds no personal data.
Analytics
We run our own first-party analytics rather than a third-party service. It uses browser storage, not cookies:
-
visitorId(localStorage) - a random identifier that lets us tell a returning visit from a new one. It persists until you clear site data and is not linked to your name or email. -
sessionId(sessionStorage) - groups the pages you view into one visit. Cleared when you close the tab.
Alongside these we record the page viewed, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Section 3 of the Privacy Policy covers what we do with it.
Inside a customer’s TRACKK account
The HR application sets its own session and preference cookies so employees stay signed in and keep their settings. Those are strictly necessary for the platform to function, and they are governed by the subscription agreement with the employer.
4. Third-party services
Some pages link out to services we do not control - the scheduling tool used to book demos, WhatsApp, Google Maps, and our social profiles. If you follow one of those links or load embedded content from them, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. We do not place advertising or remarketing tags on this website.
5. Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and clear site data, usually under
Settings → Privacy. Clearing site data also removes the visitorId and
sessionId values described above, which opts you out of our analytics on that
browser. Most browsers also offer a private or incognito window that discards everything when you
close it.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and form submission. The functional and analytics items can be cleared with no loss of functionality.
6. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes affecting subscribers are notified in advance.
